"Designing the Future of Public Service."

I have always been a big fan of IPAC and even served on the Board of IPAC Toronto. So it is a real honour to moderate a top-notch panel of public servants thinking about "Designing the Future of Public Service."

On the morning of March 9, you will here the following Panel members describe their vision of the future of the public service:

Janice Baker: City Manager and Chief Administrative Officer for City of Mississauga. She previously served as Mississauga’s Commissioner of Corporate Services and Treasurer. She has 32 years of municipal government and fiscal administration experience, having previously held senior roles at both the City of St. John's, Newfoundland and the City of Oshawa, Ontario. Janice received the Vanier Medial from the IPAC in 2019.

Steven Davidson: Secretary of the Cabinet and Head of the Ontario Public Service. He previously served as Associate Secretary of the Cabinet and Deputy Minister, Policy and Delivery, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport and the Deputy Minister responsible for the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games and Anti-Racism.

Mithula Naik: Interim Head of Design Research and a founding member of the Canadian Digital Service (CDS) where she supports the design research community, product development teams and government partners to understand the needs of people using government services.
